We booked a tour for 3 days in Cappadocia with the Insider Travel and we had a great time! Everything went smoothly, our hotel accommodation was perfect with great views on the hot-air balloons passing every morning. Our tour guide Ali and driver Salim were so kind and helpful and we had a great time together! I would totally recommend booking with them.

Extremely bad experience. Our whole trip as a group of 6 people ruined because of the poorly organising skills by the agents in the tour company. They are very aggressive too and tend to be very money centric without delivering promised service. Please avoid if you want a peaceful tour.

While there are some positive aspects to engaging this agency for hotel and vehicle bookings, our experience highlights several drawbacks. We booked a tour for six people, covering destinations such as Fethiye, Antalya, Ephesus, Pamukale, and Capadocia, starting from Istanbul. Let's examine the advantages and disadvantages we encountered:Advantages:Competitive pricing: Insider Travel offers cost-effective options, although it's important to note that there may be additional charges for various add-ons. Check their terms and conditions for more details. Comfortable transportation: Throughout the tour, the agency provided comfortable vehicles for our convenience. Good hotel accommodations: Insider Travel ensured that participants were accommodated in quality hotels.Disadvantages:Lack of organization: The lack of organization was a significant drawback during our experience. We received last-minute notifications about pick-up times, sometimes as late as midnight. This made it extremely challenging to plan any leisure activities during the tour. On one occasion, we reached our hotel at 2 am and were expected to be ready for an air balloon ride by 4 am. Moreover, our agent continuously pressured us for more money, unfairly blaming us for delays. This constant stress and pressure significantly dampened the enjoyment of our vacation. Lack of accountability: Insider Travel tends to shift responsibility when things go wrong. They often try to distance themselves from any mistakes by attributing complaints to either the participants or others. For example, in Istanbul, our tour guide took us to Pierre Loti Hill, where we intended to take the Sky Tram. However, due to long ticket queues, we had to skip the ride and wasted time waiting in the car instead. This resulted in missing the last ferry for the Bhosporus cruise due to heavy traffic. The agency promptly blamed us for spending too much time at Pierre Loti and failing to anticipate the traffic jam. Delayed hotel payments: Insider Travel frequently made late payments to hotels, causing participants to waste valuable time waiting for check-in. Picture arriving at a hotel at 6 pm after a tiring journey, only to find yourself stuck in the lobby for hours due to payment issues. This unfortunate situation occurred multiple times during our tour. Pressure for additional payments: The agency employed an aggressive approach when requesting additional payments for add-ons. These charges were often revealed at the very last minute, leaving us with little time to consider alternatives. For instance, when we arrived in Capadocia at 1:30 am, we were compelled to wait in the hotel lobby until we made the balance payment. Failure to comply would have resulted in denied check-in. We were left with no choice but to meticulously calculate and verify the dubious balance amount quoted by our agent, ultimately being coerced into paying without any other options.To conclude, it is strongly advised to avoid Insider Travel in Turkey, even if their prices appear tempting compared to other alternatives. The stress and unexpected additional payments during inconvenient times overshadow any potential savings. Your vacation should be a time of relaxation and enjoyment, not an ordeal filled with stress and financial pressures.

I booked the tour to kapadokia for 3 days, with the whole package. It was well organized and pick up from hotel is very smooth. My tour guide Ali is very knowledgeable and kind. The arranged hotel though is a little bit out of Goreme town center, but is very nice and staff who work there are very kind and welcoming, if you are a small group of friends or family, it will be wonderful.
