Came here to try the Turkish delight, it wasn’t bad so I bought a small amount in a bag and it was fine. Came back a few days later to buy more and a different worker refused to sell me, said it was minimum half kilo.

Their prices are high.They have good choices though.You can find alternatives at the grand Bazaar.

Here they sell lokum (or Turkish delight) which is basically a confection made of starch and sugar gel. I would personally recommend the ones consisting of chopped pistachios, hazelnuts or walnuts. They a normally more expensive though. The cheaper varieties flavored with rosewater or bergamot orange seem too sweet for me. In this particuar shop they can vacuum pack your lokum in case you're buying them for a present and want to transport safely to your home. The service here is quick, you can pay either in cash or with card. The only disadvantage of this shop is the prices - the very same lokum costs 4 times less on the Egyptian bazaar.
