It was by sheer chance that we bumped into this lovely store and met the charming owner. The store hosts a beautiful collection of carpets. Very happy to have found an exquisite handcrafted one from the Denizli province to adorn our house. It's good value for money. Would highly recommend this place should you be looking for handcrafted carpets and rugs!!

Honest and best guys on this business in Turkey! It's very obvious that they are not like the other carpet dealers. We've bought several handmade kilims which are reasonably priced. It was important for us 'cause we were fed up of the sellers that exaggerating prices and then absurdly lowering the prices.Definitely positive!

Recently, our Seabourn Encore cruise ship moored in Istanbul, Turkey. After we had taken some fascinating tours of splendid Istanbul, I asked one of the crew's officers if she knew of a great carpet store near the ship. She checked on Google and found Persona Carpets. It was just a short twenty-minute walk from the city's exquisite cruise terminal, so my husband and I set out walking. We needed directions a few times on the way, but there was always a kind and helpful Istanbul resident to guide us.Once we arrived at Persona Carpets, a quaint shop in a delightful non-touristy neighborhood, we met Atalay, the young shop owner. He and his lovely assistant spoke perfect English. They were accommodating in looking through Persona Carpet's excellent collection of rugs. Knowing our dining room table size, we selected a perfect 115 x 93" antique carpet that is perfect for our room!Atalay was very helpful in telling us where the splendid carpet was made and some of Turkish carpet history. There was no pressure to buy
