Located in Taksim, close to Pera, a very central point in Istanbul, attracting local peple and many others from different parts of world, 1924Istanbul-formerly known as Rejans will take you a journey within time.Elegance , beauty and with very delicious food, from Russian cuisine and excellent service is definitely a very special place to go.This restaurant was Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's one of favorite places, his table is reserved for Eternity.You will enjoy delicious Russian mezes, sat at tables where many famous people sat.If you live in Istanbul, do not delay, make a booking asap, if you are a visitor in Istanbul must save time for this special location -I loved the Russian mezes- we got the shared menu, I had beef strogonoff, meat was very good and dish is quite big, and for dessert 1924Chocolate Faberge- I will not give details - see it for your self:)

I have been before and enjoyed it (although the first time I went my food didn't come as waiter forgot my order) and I live in Istanbul so thought I'd give it another go. Ordered the chicken kievski and it looked great and had my first bite and was tasty but then cut it open further and the other part was raw. :-( The waiter apologised and we ordered another dish instead. I had the stroganoff which was nice enough but nothing amazing. the pureed potato was too creamy for my liking. Our plates were not cleared until we flagged a waiter down as they were attending to clearing empty tables instead?....there were loads of empty clean tables and they were not busy at all so I am not sure why they were more concerned with tables rather than the customers.....we were not given any complimentary drink or dessert to compensate having raw chicken served to us which ı found really bad.

Eski Rejans'ın havası tam olarak yok. Daha lüks, çok daha pahalı. Ama tabii her şeye rağmen çok güzel bir deneyim. Votkalarda eski tadı bulamadım ama. Keşke hiç değişmeseydi.

It’s a beautiful place and feels like travel in time. Live music and authentic atmosphere. They should improve their menu though. The food is delicious but not exactly Russian.

We had an exquisite dining experience tonight at this wonderful establishment which is now probably the oldest restaurant still in operation in our beloved Istanbul. We felt incredibly fortunate to join the ranks of Kemal Ataturk, Agatha Christie and Greta Garbo as patrons. Our waiter Serkan and the entire staff made us feel incredibly welcome and the food was gorgeous as well. All in all an unforgettable experience and highly recommended to anyone who wants to treat themselves to a fancy night out!

Beyoğlu bölgesinde yeni açılan bir restaurant çok lezzetli bir menüye sahip. Kokteyl’ler mutlaka tadılmalı.
